​The first floor (only) is handicap accessible.  The first floor includes the kitchen, veranda, sitting room with television, bedroom with two twin beds and the bathroom/laundry room shown below.  The access ramp, also shown, can be installed when requested, given sufficient advance notice.  The horizontal grab bars in the shower and next to the toilet are 31 inches above the floor: two inches lower than ADA specs.  This was done to make the bars more useful to those in wheelchairs.  They may be somewhat less helpful for tall ambulatory guests.  There are also vertical bars, as shown. Given that the facilities are not entirely ADA compliant, prospective renters should ask for details and perhaps even ask a friend or family member to inspect the setup beforehand.
